You often hear the term “financial literacy”. The point at which someone actually becomes financially literate is unclear. As the economy and markets are constantly changing, only one thing is known – a solid financial education foundation is required for anyone expected to teach financial concepts to students.
To assist educators interested in improving content knowledge and gaining access to new materials or experiences we offer professional development courses. Beyond stand-alone courses, a UC certificate program is also available to become a content specialist in either Economics or Personal Finance. This is not a "certification/licensure" program.
